Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1999, originally with Blackaddder & McMonagle, Solicitors, Falkirk. He joined Miller, Beckett & Jackson in 2002, being assumed as a partner in 2005. He comes from family of solicitors dating back several generations who practised in Hamilton under the firm name of JB Soutter, Son & Main.
His main area of practice is commercial property.
He is a member of the Property Litigation Association (Scottish Branch).
His approach is to identify his clients’ commercial objectives from the outset and to seek to achieve those in as efficient and commercial manner as possible.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his young family. His leisure interests include golf, rugby, football and swimming.
